What are your preparations for the holiday season?
With the busiest time of the year fast approaching we thought we would put the following guide together to ensure that your items are delivered on time every time!
Many shops have been forced to close their doors due to Covid and the volume of items going through the sortation overnight system has greatly increased. Together with the Christmas orders, their service levels are already stretched.
How urgent is your delivery?
Do the items need to be delivered on a dedicated same day delivery or can it be shipped overnight?
- Same Day - Apollo has vehicles available 24/7,365 days a year from small vans to artics.
- Overnight deliveries - Next day deliveries are avaialble together with timed services, but during this busy time there may be extensions on delivery times - please allow additional time for your items to be deliverd to its destination.
- International deliveries - each country has its own holiday schedule and you should check transit times before sending your item. We always advise sending your item a day in advance should there be issues with customs. Delays could also happen this year with the Brexit deadline looming.
Unlike many large carriers, Apollo will complete all paperwork, track each shipment, let you know if there are any issues with delivery and confirm when your items have been delivered, This will free you to concentrate on running your business at this very busy time of the year.
